Andi Lloyd enjoys her life aboard the surveyor, a class-A vessel that travels through outer space. She works alongside the Doctor, her adopted father. When her swashbuckling cousin, Eagle Crash, comes aboard with warnings of imminent danger, Andi doesn’t know what to make of it. Most of the trouble seems to be coming from Crash’s arrogance. Unfortunately, the problems don’t leave with him.
It took me a while to get really engrossed in this story, but that’s probably because I’m not used to sci-fi. It took J. Grace Pennington a while to set up the conflict that drives the second half of the book. Once I reached the tipping point and everything started coming together and making sense, I couldn’t stop reading. It was pretty intense. I’d tell you more, but a lot of the suspense comes from not knowing what’s going on, so I won’t ruin that for you..

Well I actually am not currently really reading any other book blogs. Although I would like to. I do periodically get onto Homeschool Authors.
Radially looks very interesting. I just have one question. Does it have any romance or magic in it? If it does you don’t have to enter me in the giveaway. 🙂 Thanks
Homeschool authors is a fun blog. I read that one too.
Radialloy has zero romance or magic in it. And no aliens either. 😉 I don’t think you would have any problems with the content.
I already have (and love) Radialloy on kindle, so I don’t need to be entered. I have gotten book recommendations from friends on Goodreads, and from Homeschool Authors and Molly Evangeline’s blog. Radialloy is amazing, and book two, In His Image, is even better. Don’t worry about the “life on other planets” in that one, it’s masterfully done from a Christian worldview.
Ooh, I love a good sci-fi! It’s sounds really cool and I would love to read it.
So far, your blog is the only one that I look to regularly for good book
recommendations and such. There is this one blog I found, though, called
Story Girl. The blogger is a Christian homeschool-graduate author like
you, but her blog is much different. Book reviews in this blog are rather
sparse, but some of her other posts can be interesting. (I’m warning you,
though, she’s a SherWhovian 😉 )
