March Theme: The French Revolution

Calendar Ever since Maiden-in-Waiting suggested a giveaway of The Scarlet Pimpernel, I’ve been working on pulling together enough books to do a French Revolution themed month. I’m still one book short because March has five Fridays, but we’ll find something to fill that slot. (If I have time to read them, I’m considering In The Reign of Terror or Les Miserables. If any of you are willing to do a guest post on either of these, or want to suggest a different French Revolution novel, let me know.) In the meantime, here are the titles planned for this month.

Week One–In Search of Honor, by Donnalynn Hess
(Guest Post by Mary Willson)
Week Two–A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens
(Guest Post by Joy C.)
Week Three–The League of the Scarlet Pimpernel, by Baroness Emmuska Orczy
and giveaway of The Scarlet Pimpernel
Week Four–Scaramouche, by Raphael Sabatini
Week Five–Undecided

What do you think of this line up? Which of the listed books have you already read? Which review are you most looking forward to?
