Congratulations Lina-Ruth! You correctly guessed the source of last week’s quote. The poem used as last week’s quote came from The Jungle Book, by Rudyard Kipling. Little pieces of the story were in several of my grammar school readers from Abeka, and I enjoyed Rikki-Tikki-Tavi by the same author.
This week I’m going with a really easy quote. Just the meter of the words should narrow the options down pretty quickly!
“I will not eat them in a house, I will not eat them with a mouse. I will not eat them in a box, I will not eat them with a fox. I will not eat them here or there, I will not eat them anywhere!
