Guess a Quote (9.02.13)

Question MarkHey there everyone! Happy Labor Day. Did any of you do something special for the holiday?

Last week’s quote came from Great Expectations, by Charles Dickens. Karis Elizabeth knew which book the quote was from. Good job, Karis! Your speech sounds interesting. 😉

Speaking of Charles Dickens, have any of you listened to the Focus on the Family Radio Theater of Oliver Twist? My parents just listened to it this past weekend and said it was great. I’ll probably put it on next time I tackle a cleaning or sewing project.

Now for this weeks quote. I’m curious to see how many of you will recognize this quote from a popular classic.

The future has several names. For the weak, it is impossible; for the fainthearted, it is unknown; but for the valiant, it is ideal.

Happy Guessing!

  1. We recently listened to FotF’s “Oliver Twist.” It’s a great story and they just made it come alive so well!
