Guess a Quote (10.01.12)

Hello everyone! It’s Monday again, which means time for another quote.

Last week’s quote came from Spy! by Anna Myers.

Here’s the quote for this week.

“Did I not tell your father that no harm should come to his daughter?” I opened my mouth, and then shut it again, and he continued sadly: “No, you need say nothing. I am a Beast, and a Beast has no honour. But you may trust my word: You are safe here, in my castle and anywhere on my lands.”

What book is this quote from? If you are stuck, the answer is hidden in the archives of this blog. 😉

Um, my first unresearched guess is that it’s from “Beauty” … but that doesn’t sound quite right. Let the blog search begin!

    (2 minutes later…)
Ha! I was right! And this “beautiful” novel was written by Robin McKinley.

(Leah, you should make these a little harder; use a different quote than the one you use in your review, or be really sneaky every once in a while and quote something famous that’s NOT on your blog! Just an idea. If you think it stinks, I won’t mind)
